An Award winning general contracting firm established in 1989, The Development Team has grown steadily over the years. The Development Team appears on the “preferred bidders list” of some of the top organizations in the tri-state area and was chosen as a Premier Contractor by the American Institute of Architects.

In 1996 The Development Team expanded into Real Estate Development with the purchase of an office building in Scarsdale, NY. Since then The Development Team has gone on to develop both commercial and residential projects, including single family housing developments and condominiums, as well as, commercial projects including shopping centers and office buildings.

Raymond Carile – President
With over 25 years experience in project and construction management at leading fortune 100 firms –Kraft Foods, McDonald’s and Con Edison – Ray Carile went from “buyer” of services to providing them. He is committed to making The Development Team the builder of choice in the Northeast. Educated at Manhattan College, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree, Ray also holds an MBA from Fordham University.

Ronna Smath – Vice President
On top of running all day to day operations of the company, Ronna also handles the office management, accounting, finance and all back office operations. She has over 30 years experience, exclusively in the construction industry.
